Couldn't Carpe Fulgur do that, adding achievements and most other Steam related stuff like trading cards. I'm sure they have the ability to do that, right? Or is it a matter of permission or something complicated that's beyond me? haha

It's not even a given that the localization team gets access to the source code of the game, let alone gets permission to edit the game like this.

Given that Recettear and Chantelise showed up on GOG but not Fortune Summoners, I would bet that the FS dev is not currently interested in expanding/modifying the game.
