Achievements only granted if title is accepted?
It seems that I'm not being awarded achievements for completing quest chains unless I accept the offered title. Is this correct? Is it intentional? For me, I skipped a lot of titles because they didn't fit with the style of character I wanted to develop - who would choose the "Outcast" style over "Warden of the North?"

Any way to fix this situation?

Yes, it works as you explained now. This can be changed in a next patch unless other players post here that they want to keep it this way.

Thank you for the explanation. I think most folks would approve of it being in a patch, but I guess that's up to you and concensus. I think that the last few achievements are in need of some work, as well. I couldn't get the achievement for finishing the last fight without using the spell-book and apparently nobody can get the achievement for finishing on impossible. I can't say about the one for beating Eric with fewer allies - I guess I assumed it meant troops, but maybe there's some way to fight him before gathering all the tribes? I tried to do all the quests my first time through, so I don't know.

If you're taking patch suggestions, though, my two greatest recommendations are that:
1) the orc castle for raising the flag should not be attackable until one is on the quest. The "raise the flag" quest pops up, but doesn't seem possible to complete (it might still unlock after doing the seemingly unrelated princess dress quest, but it's very confusing).
2) it would be great if every quest entry in the log had some kind of location description. "*continue searching for Runvald", or "*take the magazines to Grivin", etc, can be very frustrating objectives.

For me it seems it isnt changed yet, is it?

If you want to keep your title, you should save your game before you agree to change current title and reload it after getting an achievement. But there are tons of titles, so I recommend to pay no attention to them at all.

This is still bugged...

I consider this a bug, and it annoys me. At least, this way I know, should I ever choose to replay the game to get the achievements, I need to change titles at every given opportunity. Just seems silly, that you cannot choose to stick to one title, if you also want the achievements.

It's the OCD gamer in me, wanting to collect all the achievements. I should probably let it go. Just feels cheap that I don't get recognised for having done this or that. Meh.

The process of saving before accepting a new title and earning the achievement, and then reloading your game before you changed it works fine. This process seems to work well as I've tried it a couple times now.
As the developer seems to say, it's not a bug, this is how the game is. Deal with it.

♥♥♥♥ I lost some achievements... It's wrong, you earned the title, you should get the achievement, even if you don't use it. Who decided this... no logic.
