No problem with my installation of TR on either my desktop or laptop system - what did you install the game on (cpu, gpu, amt of ram, operating system, etc..) People will be a lot more helpful if they know what you're trying to run the game on.

what settings are you trying to run? that system is severally outdated.

maybe the card is downclocked for some reason and thats why all your games are slow. that happened to me few times with my gtx260 as after playing some games it would get stuck at 2d or low 3d clocks.

proble the RAM because the OS uses 512mb of the RAM and you only have 4gb so there for you only have 3.5 and i have 8gb and it runs ok lil lag

lol what? the game and his os combined use probably 2 maybe 2.5 gb if he as some stuff running. his ram has nothing to do with his problem. and your lag has nothing to do with ram either.

OP you need to be forcing directX9 in ALL of your games with that card.

you need to go back to forum computer school before you start giving advice. 4 gigs of SYSTEM ram is plenty fine for his build. Also, there is no real "set" amount of ram for windows, it will utilize all of it, even if task mgr just shows ~500 being used.

The only ram that really matters in this situation is the ram on his extremely out dated 260

You can play the game in that system. Upgrade your card drivers, and try with DirectX 9. Don't rely on pre-sets. Click the "advanced" tab and modify graphics settings one by one. Start with screen resolution.
