Who ever made a law that new games must exactly be like their predecessors?
Well the original core games were basically what the title suggested, raiding tombs. They were good but not great in my opinion.
The 3 Crystal Dynamics games that came out after were adventure games which in my opinion were also good but not great. Aside from Anniversary, that game was great.
