Wow... I was just working on a list exactly like this.

Thanks for saving me the trouble!

(and yours is nicer than mine would have been...)

Good stuff.

What I wonder is, are there more skills to uprade? Or do the cheats basically give you all the skillls maxed out from the start?

So I guess the question I'm asking is are there more than 5 abilities to upgrade?

how much long is the single player map dlc? Im considering to pick it up if the content is worth it.

Edit. Its about 10-15 min long. At this price it can't be bad

There are definitely more. I highly recommend skipping the cheat/ability DLC content as all of that stuff is already in the game. You are only paying to unlock the skills at the start of the game without actually earning the xp in game.

Here is a list of skills in game. You can fairly easily earn all skills during the course of the story as long as you explore.

Chiming in to say thank you for clearing this all up! I was interested in only snagging the single player DLC with no interest in the early unlocks or multiplayer stuff. Since Steam was a bit of a mess to sort through you easly saved me a good 15 minutes figuring out what's what.
Yeah. I can't believe it seriously lists 26 DLCs and puts the DLC-only subtotal at $9.74. It's ridiculous. I wasn't looking for a maze.

A solution could be to logically group DLCs on the store page and allow for expanding of the groups. Individual items could be picked out for purchase. We'll see how long until any change happens though.

*edit* I'm posting in Suggestions/Ideas because it's bothering me so much.

So considering:
1) I am only interested in SP
2) I'm a HUGE fan of the TR series (playing since original on PS).
4) I want to experience TR for what it is, but...
3) I don't have time to spend a ton of time playing games anymore

Should I get the unlock pack? What does it do, exactly?

I can't find some of the DLC like Outfit Pack 1 and 2 without your links. How did you find them?
It's literally a maze of obscurely placed bundles... and many overlap.
You find them from items they contain.

Yeah, Tomb Raider is a fantastic game but it unfortunately suffers from penny pincher DLC overload.

Single Player wise the DLC I recommend are both Outfit Packs and the Extra Tomb of the Lost Adventurer. The Tomb is as short as all the other Tombs within game but for the extra 75 cents it adds 5-15 minutes of gameplay and it isn't too bad.

My only issue with the outfits? They are just given to you as you start the game. They don't give any context to how she gets the outfits. Wouldn't it be cool if Lara found these outfits while exploring? Aviator outfit found in a crashed plane for instance?

With that said the base game has only 1 outfit and I like the packs because they give some variety. Its just up to the player to decide to wear them when they fit the scenario. Wearing that mountain gear looks cool up in the mountains, a bit dumb down in the hot jungle for instance...

As you play Tomb Raider you earn experience for exploing, finding salvage, hunting etc. When you find campfires you can spend this XP on skills. What buying these packs does is unlock the skill without having to actually play the game and earn the xp.

In other words... NO!!! DO NOT BUY!!! You would be paying real money instead of in-game xp to unlock skills.

DLC I DO recommend are the outfit packs and the extra tomb as this content is not already in the game and does not negatively affect the game.

Can I toggle the cheats and skill unlocks on and off?

Is there any good reason to get the outfits? Are they just aesthetic or do they provide bonuses?

No bonuses at all. Just there for looks. When you visit a campfire in game, it sort of acts as a base of operations where you can upgrade skills, look at the map of the island and switch outfits. The base game only has her default outfit, so I like these outfit packs for the variety they offer and I'd say they are worth it. Less than a dollar for 6 outfits. They fit well within the game too as they all look like outfits she would have found exploring the island.

My only complaint about the outfit DLC is that it just appears at the campfire with no explanation how she got them. Would have been cool to search the plane for instance and find the aviator suit etc.
