Obviously.

And not only if he pared it with a celleron. Noobish drivers, noobish system management (by the OS and the user, of course). There are several other noob ways of causing this error.

And since he's not even asking, just wondering (WTF) and flaming (noobs) I wouldn't do anything else than post NOT helpful posts.

Dude... that's rendering on a local level. Your system needs to be addressed. I would have a driver search or maybe even check the pairing in the BIOS to make sure that you are giving the part the right data and energy values. That is a long term sign of your GPU running too cold or too hot. EXPECIALLY if you are over clocking.

tbh the preformance for overcloking does not pay off vs the price of replacieng equipment anymore. I used to be a mad overclocker tell cpu's ram and video cards became fast enough that maxxing everything out playable was moot point. But ya i agree his rendeirng issues seems to be from a overheated card. OR a local system issue if he has something else overclocked.

I have the same issue and theres even a clip on YouTube with the same issue happens in the mountain region and shanty town..

This could be a rendering issue via the engine. Does it create an invisable wall there or are you able to keep going? If you are able to keep going do you fall off the world or does it seem like ground is still there just not being rendered? (these all effect different things such as the update() or draw() functions of the engine.)

There are no walls I can actually move forward but if I walk to far off I'll fall off. I can't progress either lmfao..was trying to get all the collectibles :(...sucks. Darn it! Game should have multiple or backup auto saves. Guess I'll wait for a patch, thank god I completed the game already.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=131703854 Here is a screenshots of shanty town. So clearly you can see me standing on nothing, I got a feeling you are correct about the engine not rendering everything. Tried to walk back but theres this unclimbable object which should be climbable. Its preventing me from going back to the camp fire and getting a new checkpoint. Also heres the video I have showing the samething as well apparently is affecting consoles as well - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwaoO6QytoI

its well know the nVidia issues with this game due to CD only giving Nvidia the final code a few days before the release. Nvidia where not able optimise in time and where not able to report issue to CD to be fixed. I dont know why I bother the steam forums is just full of crying anyways

I love when people call developers noobs as if they are somehow incompetent at their jobs because their software has a few bugs when the bugs they're complaining about aren't even typically caused by the developers.

MOST of the bugs I've seen reported on this and the regular Steam forums have been a result of having an Nvidia system. Some Nvidia customers don't have problems, but a lot of others do.

Why? Apparently Nvidia didn't get the game until only a few days before launch and thus they didn't get good drivers out in time for everybody. I emphasize the word "good" quite heavily.

Try disabling Tesselation, turning off TressFX, and fully uninstalling current drivers using a tool like Driver Sweeper or Driver Fusion, and then installing Nvidia driver version 310.10.

If none of these things work, you'll need to look at the possibility of an overheating card, an unstable CPU overclock, or a variety of other potential causes.
