First time bodies started to dissapear was in TR4 - Last revelations, and that was big dissapointment.
But TR 2013 have far more dissapointing things than this, that was done right in 1996 but for some reason devs cant do it right in 2013 - for example weapon holstering, in TR1 and up to Legend lara always carried all guns on her body, and holsterin\unholstering was fully animated, she holstered one weapon first (pistolst for exmaple) that wide on sides of her body, and then unholstered shotgun, that worked in opposite direction as well.
No weapons spawns from lara's ass, when you select pisto, bow completely disaper from Lara body, same applies to any weapon - selected one, any other dissapears.
In previous games when lara was wet after water her closes was wet (since TR legend) and watter dropped of her body, and there was more little details like this - NONE OF THEM EXIST in Tomb Raider 2013.
Its a broken mess of inconsisten and poor game design now :-( I still play enjoy 1996 Tomb Raider because of very good game design and care about little details, despite old ♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphics, but TR 2013 with good graphics only leads me to frustration because it cant do right or cant do at all anything that was in 1996 and was done quite good back then (actually even for these days standarts TR1 1996 is very realistic and immersive hudless game that was ahead for its time and definetely ahead of most 2013 games including TR reboot).
