I'll have to try that when I get up in the AM.
You do not need arrows to fire rope arrows. Either hold down middle mouse button or spacebar to alt fire the bow which are rope arrows. (Rope arrows do not use up regular arrows)
I know, but since I have no arrows I can't choose the bow as a weapon, so I can't aim with it and throw the rope arrow
It's not about how to do the puzzel its about using rope arrows if you are out of regular arrows.
I hate to admit that this was one of two places in the game where I resorted to Youtube videos to see how its done. My only other TR exposure was "Underworld" which I enjoyed the majority of outside of the stupid timed motorcycle ride and one of the tombs near the end of the game.
The puzzle wasn't the problem, it was obvious (for all of us who've played the older games).
