Crash fix for Nvidia cards, resolved tesellation/Sli issue for me
Hi All

Just thought i would post a fix i found experimenting with other profile settings using Nvidia Inspector.

The engine for Tomb Raider seems to have a lot in common with Hitman Absolution (a game i had a similar crashing issue with until Nvidia updated their driver profile).

Please note this was tested using Driver 314.07 , 2 x 670-gtx ,Windows 7

All you need to do is use Nvidia inspector to add TombRaider.exe to the Hitman Absolution profile, i have played the game with Maxed settings (using FX antialiasing) for 1:30 hours now with no crashing and great sli scaling. Just to make sure i tried five other profiles, all would crash in 5 or 10 minutes of use despite great sli scaling.

Trying this right now. As of far, it has not crashed. Got past the point I was struggling with.

Running two GTX 680 in SLI. Crossing fingers :-P

I think this is specifically a fix for SLI. I remember playing Crysis 2 and having a terrible issue with flashing screens. I literally just renamed the EXE file to Rift.exe, which made it use the Rift SLI profile and never had another issue after that. It's fantastic how you can mess around with stuff to tweak the game profiles.
There's a profile in Nvidia Inspector for Tomb Raider 2013. I tried it and that fixed my graphic glitch crash. I had been unable to walk up the steps with the doctor (pretty early in game). It still had a few quick graphics spasms (geometric vomit) but I was able to keep walking and it cleared up. FYI I'm running a 660ti Superclocked (Driver 314.07) on 64bit Windows 7.
Okay, while the Tomb Raider 2013 profile still let the game crash, the hitman absolution profile seems to work to fix the crashing.

Ultimate Settings. exclusive fullscreen=OFF
FXAA, SMAA does not work with TressFX!

I chnaged the AF Settings to Application Controlled in the HItman Profile. Will return here with update if it still works. :D Because the hitman profile has AF disabled. ^^
Just downgrade to 310.90, confirmed to fix crashes even with in game Tesselation, Exclusive Fullscreen and what not turned on,even the TrissFX give me only 5 frames impact, from an average of 35 to 30 with 25 being the lowest according to the benchmark.
works with a single 680
On parts of the game that show a lot of the open environment, my fps drops to about 30 on a gtx 690. This isn't normal, right? I'm only running at 1080p and have tesellation off.
I can verify this works for me, GTX670 with tesselation/tressfx/vsync all on and highest in-game settings, 8 hours and no crashing since I started using this.
i have just updated my driver from 314.07 to 314.14 and i have been playing for an hour now with max settings and no issues as of yet also.

i am using a gtx 660
^ using the same BETA driver. it didnt change anything for me
314.14 does not work with 680's with this game, i dont know about 660's. I'm guessing unreal hadnt left the cave yet lol. Sure, this game will work on a single 680 with old drivers, but then why do I have 2 680's in sli? The devs should be punished for this. Nvidia will clean their up mess, I just hope they fix it soon so I don't have to resort to switching to new drivers everytime i want to play crysis 3 or any other game.
