12% of players have finished the single player campaign
Out of curiosity I had a look at the achievements earlier. 12% of players have the "A Survivor is Born" achievement, earned on completing the campaign. I'm curious as to how this is possible when Steam wont unlock it for another 2 days and 10 hours?

(Note; this isn't some sort of rage post about not being able to play it yet. Just simple curiosity)

How to go into Properties? First time before downloading i was able to change language, enter beta (password only), DLCs, achievements but now its blocked, i think.

Early access and people from machinima and whatnot is my guess. The other option is devs

Yai was wondering about that myself as well. 12% sounds pretty high for devs I think

it must be devs cuz no one else can play the pc version of the game yet not even reviewers

Dont forget the member of the press. Most of us got press builds 2 weeks ago to get ready for day one reviews. There is an embargo at the moment for March 4 11AM. 1 hour after release. ;) TotalBiscuit is such a newb at this.

I believe the reason for the Pc not reviewed is because the Publisher made a deal with Sony and Microsoft- they want to take as many sales as possible since if the PC was reviewed and had superior graphics then some console players might just get the PC version.

Its like the whole release Console version of games and then PC version a few months later.

There is no PC/Mac core company like sony/Microsoft to create contracts with publishers which favor them.

1. Devs
2. Early Reviewers

It will be devs and early reviewers, just because there isnt a review of the PC version yet does not mean they havent played it, hell they probably have their reviews all ready to go, they just have to wait to post them.

Doesn't the PC Gamer article say not to preorder either?

We ended up getting the PC build yesterday. A tad late I'd say. But yeah a bunch of reviewers got their PC review copies earlier in the week. I wasn't on the review. So I bought it like everyone else, waiting for steam to let me play it.

There is torrents available with cracks that unlock the pre-load version. People are playing right now... I hate to be a righteous person.... ¬¬
