Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider Reviews in one place:
IGN (9.1/10)

Kotaku (Should you play? YES)

Gameinformer[www.gameinformer.com] (9.25/10)

Gamespot[www.gamespot.com] (8.5/10)

Gametrailers (8.5/10)

Official Xbox Magazine[www.oxmonline.com] (8.5/10)

Destructoid (8.5/10)

Most issues i have read have to do with Multiplayer being trash and Lara going from crybaby to cold killer instantly other than that this game is GOLD

Obviously PC version could have +/- on some of these scores

From what I've read, not liking it. I've played Tomb Raider 1 & 2, Anniversary, Legend and Underworld. This game sounds nothing like them at all. It seems like a third person shooter (looks like Glacier engine[Hitman Absolution]) & team deathmatch game. Past Tomb Raider games weren't about run & shoot, they were about adventure and exploration in exotic looking places and figure how to get around them.

That's my two cents.
All reviews really state that its a great action shooting game but recapping what was about in older games... exploring exotic places and what not... I dont think this game would really suit those players looking for an adventure.

In its own right looks like its a good cinematic action game.

Awww the IGD review I linked in another thread isn't here, cause of the lower score perhaps?

This one you mean? A way more detailed review. Which confirms what I was afraid of Tomb Raider's future. We may have lost another great franchise to the modern copycat game industry.

This is why its always good to wait for reviews.
Penny Arcade[www.penny-arcade.com] No rating, just a "You pretty much need to get this".

Why is that whenever a good game gets a single bad review it's automatically considered a bad game. The good reviews vastly outnumber the bad one's so I'm going to assume the game is pretty damn good.

15 hour campaign is enough to make me buy it

Look at the like/dislike bar. This review doesn't seem right with IGN and Gamespot video review. There are only 2 website give low score(7 and 6/10). But I will wait for myself playing it. :D
The like/ dislike bar seems to be like that because of butthurt over the low score. Hell, the top rated comment is just a list of reviewers that rated it better. You know it's bad when people feel compelled to defend a game they haven't even played yet.

This is why I hate numerical scores. So frigging toxic, the review may take half an hour to watch / read and people will just fixate on how the little number is higher / lower than they expected.

You are right, just play and feel it by our own feeling. :D
p/s: I have go around and ask some question about "region" of PC version, do you think this new Tomb Raider is a free region version when it comes out? If I ordered it in Russian, may I still download and play it in single campaign if Russian became "locked region"? Please let me know, I'm a little bit nervous because I have ordered it in Russian Steam server. :( I'm come from Vietnam.

I did not say it was a bad game, it may be a good cinematic third person shooter game but it is not like all the other Tomb Raider games before it at all. The game isn't tailored for Tomb Raider fans like me, we loved the games because of their platforming, adventure and exploration plus like some have already said also its puzzle(the environment) solving.

Likes/Dislikes mean eff all when it comes to reviews. If a game doesn't get a high score, it automatically get's a dislike from all the fanboys/girls.
