In the mean time since you have the files on your computer still I would recommend going to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\steamID#\203160\remote
This is where your save files are located so just copy/paste them on your desktop or somewhere to keep as a backup. Steam Cloud kinda does this for you, but it would be more reliable to have the local saves handy in case Steam downloads the wrong save files.
Unless I forgot doing this within the space of 2 hours then it is possible.
Still no response from Steam but thanks for the help.
I'll make sure I copy those files onto my desktop.
So what is your point? I have temporary memory loss and done it myself?
Anyway issue resolved.
I went to re install it and it installed iton the "preparation" screen without having to do a full download.
I went to re install the game and it only done an install of some files and became "ready to play".
Not a full uninstall true, but some kind of weird error.
I was looking for help, stupid of me to think forums were the place for it.
Haha, I suppose I should count myself lucky!
I clicked install, clicked the located I installed it previously, and it just started checking the game files, then went back to "Play".
Strange, but there it is.
