i prefer the stock hair. the tressfx is a nice tech demo, but is incredibly distracting during gameplay. the standard hair seems more natural oddly enough.

If you're running an Nvidia card you're still going to struggle. My mate has a 680 and TressFX still goes super buggy on him due to Nvidia not getting a chance to see the code prior to release and the fact it's designed with AMD in mind.

Just so you know, even the highest performing cards out on the market currently can barely make it past 30-40 FPS.

I have an HD 6950 and get an average of 36 FPS with tress FX enabled in ultimate mode. It's good to see something finally challenging good hardware. We'll finally see some reasonable upgrades in both hardware and gaming in general.

max stats with tressfx and every additional setting 50-90 fps

I havre an Alienware and the graphics have been more than phenomenal, and her hair is not an issue. Nor have any play issues been around. Crashed twice, but that's because my driver update ran interference.

Hey - how can I check my FPS? I've been curious since I've been playing this game because, like I said, the graphix are phenomenal.

I didn't like TressFX, seemed unnatural and buggy and was distracting. I had to disable it

7950 Crossfire, demolishes Tress-FX like it wasn't there.

I run it on Ultra with tressfx no probs on a 7850 OC.

Even 3-way SLI 680s only manage 80-90 fps average with everything maxed on 1920x1080. TressFX a bit flickery on initial loading, but livable.
Dellicious 31 mar 2013, ore 11:07
SLI 680 is wasted at 1920x1080.

Not on a 120hz monitor.

Try 2 120hz monitors.

Can you tell the difference between 120fps and 60fps? Don't think it's humanly possible lol. I use V-sync, pointless letting my radeons produce 100's of frames I can't see.

Two 580 GTX's in SLI, ZERO PROBLEMS!

It's possible and you are very much mistaken.
Childofrock 31 mar 2013, ore 18:47
It's medically impossible to physically see more than 60 fps. The human eye cannot do it. Look it up. However, the input (especially with a mouse) on something above 60 fps can be noticeable and therefore it can be interpreted by the brain as "seeing" more than 60 fps.
