**Possible Spoilers** Final Oni Boss QTE struggles

I am at the end of the game where you have to reach mathias and Sam and you have to fight the giant Oni. I get him down to where a QTE triggers and everytime I go to push F it never registers and I get bitchslaped and rince and repeat. My game has been a bit laggy since I started playing but I have had no problems with anyother QTEs so I am kind of at an impass. I have been trying to do this fight for over 45 minutes now with increasing frustration.

F or E? Make sure you mash the correct button, there are times when they frequently exchange between mashing F part to mashing E part. Also make sure you time your pressing correctly, like how you do Knee Arrow attack.

I am playing the PC Version and I have gottent hat sucker down a zillion times, it let's me hit him with one F to the head, then he bats me aside and I go at it again! HELP! What am I doing wrong?

It's a 15-year old's mentality. They won't let you play the game with the weapons and skills you have worked for - they have to bugger up your movement, and give you a split second to react to Melee. Hahaha, that's funny. They're probably whackin' off thinking about dedicated gamers tearing their hair out. After almost an hour of getting slaughtered, I got the last laugh and deleted the game. It's junvenile to have you pull some carnival trick to survive. The rest of the game was fun - it's sad that morons are allowed to make these game decisions.

You have to knock him down a couple of times by shooting him in the back, then you'll also have to try this with the distractions of some archers. At some point his helmet will come off and you can shoot him in the head for the final set of QTE's.

Bear in mind, you're about 5 minutes from the end at this point.

I just finished it. The Giant Oni was a little tough. Avoiding his henchmen and timing his demise with the axe(F) key was fun.
I come from a first person shooter background which probably helped a lot during combat scenes.
This is the most fun I've had in pc gaming lately. I installed Legend and Anniversary which I had but never really played. I understand they're different but I look forward to them.

I might add some encouragement to those having difficulty with the QTE's.
Don't give up-you can do it. It's worth it. Great game.

ps I'm 63 so if I can finish it anyone can.

I am absolutely stuck here. I've got the Oni down dozens of times but cannot for the life of me get the first "press f" to work at all. Nothing works. I've held, I've tapped, I've timed. My laptop (windows 8.1, 8gb ram, 2.5 ghz processor, 64 bit) has been lagging with this game. Sigh. I have given up. Is there a skip cheat? It bothers me to leave a game incomplete.

If i remember, you can't press f from the start when you see it because he willl slap you...you need to wait etwas one second or two and then press f...when the final qte occurs however, you need to repeatedly press f, when he's down on ground.

Ok so I was stuck on this part for AGES with the same issue, and I just figured out what the problem was. I thought I had to hit F when the shrinking circle got to the middle. DON'T. WAIT for the circle to go into the middle and start to go back out before hitting the F key (basically wait for it to start getting bigger)

In my experience the best way to beat the oni is to use shift to get behind him. Shoot him in the back with the shotgun and then finish him when you get the prompt. You have to do it twice to defeat him.

first of all he's not going down the 1st time, the QTE, fall's short and he's back up guy's show up giving you something else to deal with, use the grenades for them. then go back for the big guy. once his helmet come's off use the pistol to head shot him.
