Wolf Cave Glitch

I am trying to get into the Wolf Cave but the inside of the cave is all gray and when I go over the edge into the gray everything turns gray, the camera pans down the gray and then stops. I have loaded from old saves and reset the game, but nothing happens.

o.k. what are your system specs and maybe make a screenshot of your graphic options.
I have seen a lot of those klipping glitches in tomb raider 2009, but nothing game breaking.
Maybe its like this one here, but thats from an xbox version.

I have a 2.8 GHz Intel i7-4810MQ with 16GB of RAM and a GTX860M video card.

That looks like a driver or Direct X issue, Are you using a Laptop (860M). Try swapping Drivers.. try the one given by your Laptop provider then swap to the nvidia version.

In situations like this, it can pay to just go back to old drivers, get past the Cave or section... then re-install the new drivers back on.

that save file may also be corrupted, delete it.

I have this problem in 2020 on a linux system with the lowest settings. Also no vulkan.

Fixed it by walking all the way back to the beginning, and then back to this enterance.
