Black Ops 2 Port Forwarding (NAT - Open)
Here are the ports that need to be forwarded to change your NAT type from strict/moderate to open.

Black Ops - TCP&UDP (3074)
Steam - UDP (2700, 27015-27030)
Steam - TCP (27014-27050)

The "-" signifies a range ergo 27015-27030 would be all Ports between the two numbers. (Ex. 27015, 27016, 27017......27030)

You can do this through your router's advanced settings.

I have noticed that if my xbox is on the same network it tries to forward the ports by default to it. May want to check that there isnt a port forwarding conflict like this.

1st of all make your ip static its a must, then forward ports if they need to be forwarded:)

Also sometimes when mine says Moderate ( I have ports forwarded as well) I have to uncheck the UPnP on my router and then reload the page and check it again, then boom NAT is open once again. it's weird as

What if you don't have enough port forwarding slots on your router?

why would you do that?
black ops 2 runs on dedicated servers. you can't be the host anyways. so there's no reason for an open NAT

You can't make parties without having an open NAT type.

well, i can and my nat is moderate :q

mine is moderate also and have no probs making parties, and 3074 is the only required port needed for open nat, the steam ports for the entire 2700 range are for source engine games that have dedicated servers and aren't functional otherwise.

It's possible to make parties with a moderate NAT type, but anyone with a strict NAT type won't be able to join the party.
