So, after reviewing the oh-so-great sequel
(that was sarcasm for those who don't get it) I may as well go ahead and review Black Ops 2, also since I directly had some comparisons done with Ghosts. This is mostly on multiplayer.
So yep, Black Ops 2, not just that it is a pretty solid CoD-game with solid mechanics, it's also a pretty good PC-Port. Treyarch sure did a great (maybe even the best) job since the last CoD-game with a proper server browser and freedom (that being CoD4 and World at War - Black Ops 1 was not such a good port performance-wise). It may rely on matchmaking as seen since Modern Warfare 2, but uses dedicated servers instead of player-hosted servers. Also, quite a neat amount of PC-related settings to optimise the game or even give it better-than-consoles graphics and a FOV-Setting!
Also runs at a rock-solid 120+ FPS here (can be set to have a maximum FPS cap of 200 FPS) with no drop-downs below that on max settings, while looking just a tad bit worse than Ghosts - which by itself runs at a varying 45-90 FPS at most times... So yeah, ports-wise it's a great CoD.
Sadly though, the bad taste of Modern Warfare 3 (which was awful, port-wise) probably kept a lot of people from getting Black Ops 2.
Still has a good-enough playerbase now to easily find TDM matches, too.
