So how long is this game?

I've only played an hour or so. So far I really like it though. As others have said it definately brings back Bomberman memories galore. The look of it reminds me of Hotline Miami alot. I know HM came out after this, I'm not saying anyone ripped anyone I'm just saying I like that color palete. Anywho longer than needed post aside. So how long is this game? Time to finish the levels? How many sets of levels are there? As in each of those little maps with 4 or so levels on each, how many of those little maps are there? I'm just curious, did some googling and couldn't seem to find anything. If anyone knows I'm really curious please let me know thanks.

Seems to be like there's 8 maps, i havent reached the 8th yet, but after the 8th you seem to reach the surface.

Just finished it. Depending on your deaths and such... Seems to be about 2 hours long. I really enjoyed it.

Not a huge game, but I think people are overrating immensely long games these days. (Portal 1 was only about 2 1/2 hours, and that is one of the best games ever made)
Not sure I'd agree with CabbageMetal - maybe I'm just not as good a gamer, but it took me a bit longer than two hours I think.

I totally agree with you people definately overrate longer games. I meen just think about how fun alot of HL mods are. Those are all (well alot are anyways) very compact 1-3 hour experiences, some even shorter than that. There's just something kinda nice about sitting down at your pc knowing you have a few hours and going "ok, what story would I like to see start to finish right now".

Depending on how particular you are about challenges, and achievements - you can get maybe 8-10 hours from it. I'm not very good and got about 8-9hrs I think - but I played carefully at times trying to get certain achievements like the pacifist achievements where I try to escape without killing anybody.

Wow, that's honestly pretty impressive. I wish I could get my money's worth out of games like that. Frankly I just don't have the patience and I think a condition known as "video game add" lol

I just finished it, and Steam says I have 4.7 hours of play time on record. I was far from perfect though, often dying and missing some achievements, so there's definitely some replay value here that could extend the play time. How long it lasts depends on how good you are. I don't consider myself that great of a gamer, hence it taking me longer than some others here, but it seems to have a decent amount of game play in it, especially if you try to do everything you possibly can in every level.

I have to laugh at the low scores for short games. Years ago I'd pay $50 without thinking for a minute for an arcade port of a game that took, tops, an hour to beat (see: counless Sega Genesis games). Nowadays if the game isn't at least 8-10 hours long (or have MP) it's automatically considered a waste of money.

Its about 4 hours if you go for 100% completion as you progress. But if you beat a level and don't aim to get all the mblums at once. Then you might add a couple more hours on to re-memorize enemy placement/movement, items, etc. when you deicide to do backtracking.

Then again I have played a ton of stealth/puzzle games...... so this might have been a tad bit too easy for me. But either way I throughly enjoyed the 4 hours I played to get my 100% some of the maps were great brain teasers till you figured out the fastest way to do them.

Funnily enough, I have same as Dronak reported. 4.7 hours for 100% completion including any time that the game was left open, so probably closer to 4 than 5

If you really enjoy it, you can play pretty much indefinitely. There are nearly 1000 user created levels in the "Community Maps" section, and I'd say the majority of them are quite good, though many of theme are insanely challenging.
