This has been discussed excessively and on many occasions.

Multiplayer is not being done for Hegemony Rome, though *might* be done
for whichever game follows after that.

Though I do agree that this game and/or future Hegemony games would be great with
multiplayer, it's simply too much for the dev's to take on in the near future, being an indie team.

They've said they need more people to buy their games before multiplayer would be financially viable. Tell everyone you know about Hegemony: Rome!

Imagine if you could have every faction controlled by a player :D a week long battle royale

Equal a project multiplayer serious complex as for finaciacion. But they might begin for the cooperative one of 2-4 players..............

They were going to release a new hegemonty one about Rome and Caesar in the Gallic north, but they may have dropped the idea, haven't seen anything on it for awhile

i don't believe they have dropped it but they could release the game then update it with a multiplayer mode?

A new one or this one? A game that is already made, is hard to add multiplayer because the engine code needs to be changed.

Ah that's fair enough maybe they could just push the release date back like 6 months?

I concur with you on that thought. This game is crying to be multiplayer co op and verses. Make it SO!!!

Even if you could share the duties on one army side, just playing with one friend would be nice. Then you could argue over which questlines to follow first. :D I really like the idea of learning ancient history and playing with a friend at the same time.

^ This. Most of my friends would love to burn each others fields and ravage our cities. Especially with a theme like the Greek states and their squabbles.
