User created cities/tracks post YOUR city names!
I was VERY suprised to see how much can be done with this games track creator! It is BY FAR the best create a track on ANY racing game to date! You don't go around the map setting waypoint gates ect. like other games... You place every street, every turn & after your base track is done you can go in & delete, copy or add MOST of the stuff already on the streets & in alleyways like cars, vans, trucks, dump trucks & even backhoes! PLUS there's a bunch of stuff in menues for you to add & place ANYHWERE you want on your tracks, then you can set gametype, time of day (with MANY variations), laps, time limit, CPU oponants ect. Words can NOT express how GREAT this games' create a track is, if you're willing to take the time. Therer's already over 21 THOUSAND user created tracks in 4,500 cities on the server for you to try if you need help figuring out what's possible to make ect. You can also search the server for cities/tracks per user name & city name... forget how hard the A.I. is on the premade tracks, this game is AWESOME & well worth the money. Oh I almost forgot why I made this thread, please post your city names here if you spent a lot of time & effort on them (please don't post simple junk with square tracks okay...)! I finished My 1st city is named RAGNAROK, and I'm working on My 2nd city now, hope you like them.

I just realized you can ONLY search for cities per user if the user happens to have a name that's in all capitol letters... Oh Well still post your city names if they're not simple & NOT filled with 1,000,000 cars & objects just to be a dink because you hate the game... (found quite a few of those on the list) My 2nd city is named CALIFORNIA & it'll be up & finished by tomorrow.

Come on gang I know at least a few of you had to have spent some time making good cities/tracks? The list online is a pain cause there's so many crappy new ones you have to page through if you don't have the city name to search. My experience just grabbing random 1s off the list is 50% are square/rectangle & took 5 minutes to make... 30% are hacked to go over the items threshold & have WAY to much junk like 1,000,000 cars, vans, woodys & taxis in them... 15% are unplayable in one way or another (& seem so intentionally) & about 5% were decent/good tracks (usually in a city with some of the bad 1s), PLEASE if you have good tracks & read this post the city names, THZ

I enjoyed every track in your city dude, I just found the 1 ramp right after a turn on the 1 was an unpleasant surprise >8^p

Do to requests I'll be working on a "EXP grind" city of tracks that're not at all realistic, it's gonna take a few days to complete though... I've named the city THE GRIND & have published it even though it's unfinished since you can edit then over-write cities, ALL of the events will be very high experience without getting to ridiculous 8^j

Best track creator? Not really.

It's good at getting stuff finished quickly and then test-driving it. At it's base level, it's a neat tool that can really add life into the game.

However, the amount of issues it has cannot go unnoticed.

Bad KB+M controls, basic editor is better with controller. Advanced editor is better with KB+M, but it has restricted zoom, unintuitive controls and really doesn't work like an editor should on pc, even if it was just a barebone.

Amount of track pieces - limitation? Hooray for consoles, removing that limitation wouldn't be too big of a problem. Consoles have 256mb video memory, this game's min req. has 512MB (HD4850) not to mention that most cards these days come with at least 1GB.

No reason to limit the amount of track parts, really.

The thing with waypoints is that you can't make more custom-crafted alternative routes, and you cannot design uphills and downhills into the track. Not that it's needed though, but an optional waypoint system could be there. Not a big loss though, but some customization options - especially creating a bit more hand-crafted custom shortcuts - would be very welcomed.

And then, the multiplayer is a ghost town with seemingly no real leaderboards. All you see is a creator score, and no sort of alternative high score is displayed. It lacks sense of competition, and lack of lobbies and stuff means that when I go into "multiplayer" I see a ghost town which has the atmosphere of Metroid Prime and the communication capabilities of Journey.

The game release was delayed and it should have been delayed more. Right now bugbear has no right or motivation to patch a game they don't own, and CapCom doesn't have any reason to pay Bugbear to patch a game for PC that really didn't sell anywhere near to the expectations.

The game's trophy = boost reward system is also sort of broken, it discourages pulling a lot of awesome stuff at once and it discourages making longer tracks.

Still, it was well worth the 4.90 € for a limited edition. Would've been much more awesome to hear about this game being awesome from others, play multiplayer, and enjoy a game which would've been polished to the extent that it'd last longer.

Now that's the sort of game I would've paid 50€ for, but like one of the devs had already commented, the PC really needed a lower pricepoint for launch. Now multiplayer is dead and consecutively you don't have a lot of people telling how you could have this awesome game on PC and how you could play multiplayer races.

OMG haters trolling for attention that are FAR to overly impressed with their own opinions & forecably subject everybody to their negativity are such ______...
This post was MAINLY & obviously (especially to somebody who THINKS they're as intelligent as YOU obviously seem to think you are) made to post names of cities for people who "DO" like the game & the created tracks... go cry somewhere else! Just because you like games that have 1st or 3rd party editors that you LIKED the controls on doesn't mean ANYBODY else has any gripes about how THIS one controls... there are PLENTY of peices to do just about anything any SANE person would chose to include in an urban track in this editor...

*side note* I finished THE GRIND & published it, I'll be editing the tracks to "change things up & keep the events interesting" in the future if I can't figure out a way to copy them & reverse their dirrection then naming it a new city without it trying to over-write the previous city, so one way or another if you're sick of My events I'll be reversing some tracks & changing events & some item placement to keep things "fun" THZ for all your support gang.
