does it get harder later because i beat the 1st 3 events in the first area even though my game started to get buggy during the 2nd and 3rd race.

You only have 1 hour on record. Once you learn how to handle the cars the game can be a lot of fun. Especially if you have a good opponent to race with

With one hour you are probably still driving the Wolfseye which handles like a brick

i have played less than 20 minutes and won my 1st 3 races. my last 2 races were gltichy as ♥♥♥♥. in the video you can see the game freaking out, just skip to 7:05

i actually have all the dlc and i was playing with one of the dlc cars, i win races but it's not a fun game

The DLC cars are crap IMO
There are only 4 cars in the game that I use

Montega
Dorean Le
Hurricana
Crinale

Try some of those

lol @ that smoke in the video spazzing out.

Game runs fine on my setup (see in profile). It crashed after completing the second race, but it had already saved my victory and I haven't had problems since then. Maybe you need to update your DirectX libraries and update your GPU driver? What hardware are you running?

It's not that hard, but it's a good solid medium difficulty (the way medium difficulty should be!), giving you a run for you money. I've only played an hour though, so I can't comment on the difficulty later on. If it's true to the Ridge Racer spirit some of the last races will require almost perfect runs. One can only hope. :)

Having a blast though. Decent arcade racer.
