I heard somewhere that Ultimate edition made vast balance changes from TOTA and DL, but when playing previous campaigns (playing campaigns from TOTA and DL) the UE balance changes are applied on those campaigns even though they're not made with those balance changes in mind, resulting in an unintended experience. Is There a way to play on previous iterations on the steam version so that I can avoid that?...

My husband and I have played this game for years both from the disc and then from steam. Just lately, we've noticed it crashing more often than usual. It always crashed from time to time but in the last games we've played, it's crashing almost every time it's saved, FAR more frequently than ever before. It's becoming unplayable which is a shame because, to us, it still has a lot to offer and, in our opinion, is still better than its successors in many ways. Is anyone else having this issue?...

Ok when i start Game from Steam lvl it opens , cant change any Option like resolution and others , mean i can change option but after restart changes do not are applied in game..screen is window up left corrner. But when i start Administrator mode , and compatibility to win 7 game open[from file location lvl] Galactic Civilizations Dread Lords , full-screen and i can make changes in options. ....Be The Brain , please :) Help....
