might be nice if it checks if you have just skins or if you have new items / traps; would also be nice if they added some sort of notification.
Honestly can't speak to any of the other stuff you can get.
That's not cool
hell pinning a topic on the forums would help; but yeah I think a lot of people don't know this or learn it the hard way. And as mods become mroe impossible I can see people downloading skins before they start playing (I did)
I thought that Steam Cloud is broken a was kind of pi***. But this topic cleared all out. Now, I dont mind this, I wil turn off the mod and continue without it, but some kind of warning would be cool...
Nevertheless, this is great game :) I play single and finished 100% the first part so not yet sure if second part is better for me (because the missions might be catered for multiplayer), but will try the mods once I finish the game.
Edit: Although said mod offers a download from mediafire, allowing me to override the main program's files, not all mods do.
For the skins (Leia in my case) the workaround I found is to go to %LocalAppData%\Robot Entertainment\OMD2\SubscribedMods and find the Leia mod, find the content of the folder art\avatar\Sorceress and overwrite the same files under Steam\steamapps\common\Orcs Must Die 2\data.zip with it. Note the files to overwrite is inside the data.zip file. Same folder structure. Always make backups first.
Should be only a few dds files to overwrite.
The outfit's icon or description text won't be changed this way. But it will show correctly in game.
Since this game doesn't update very often I'd say this is good enough... At least you can use the skin AND save the game.
