If you have the DLC I believe The Tower from Classic levels is easiest IF you bring some kind of explosives for the Earth Elementals.

Whatever it's called with two lanes and water in between (with a bridge above) is probably the easiest vanilla map. I've never made it past 49, however. Too many gnolls.

That map is called Crossfire and I personally feel that you can only reach 50 with a partner. The best way we found was to make one side fully automated.

Setup the traps like usual then use barricades to force the enemies to go up the stairs. And line the bridge with teleporters. They will keep looping over and over until they're dead.

I tried tower last night and tried a lot of spring traps it was interesting but I was underpowered for the big guys.

Well I had a quick look on youtube and it looks like you want to be playing as the girl to morph the high xp enemies, sucks for me as I picked the warmage when I started and don't want to start over, but at least I can do it co-op thanks for the tips.

If you've got all the DLC then I have an easy strategy that will get itself well past wave 100 (there are many strategies that will get you higher but this is focused on being easy).

Wave 1 setup with Void Wall. The Wind Belt+Void wall combo not only kills easily but gives a huge boost to early money:

At the end of wave 2 set up a backup killbox, if you have trouble with any heavies just stun them in the Spike Wall till they get thrown into the Void Wall.

Start putting your money into a killbox in the low roofed area, you should have something like this by the end of wave 6.

After that start flooding the area from the killbox to the rift with Floor Portals.

Now you're pretty much set. When you get lots of heavies try holding them in the spike wall. When that gets over run or when you get lots of Gnoll Hunters/Grenadiers fall back to the main killbox and again keep things stunned. When that gets overrun just let them hit the portals and go round again. With the Magi I back up near the rift out of range and throw in a few stuns but I basically let the killbox take care of them.

I make 1 more change at wave 25 (the last Go break) by adding a bit of a scorcher gauntlet for the Yetti's.

This setup has got me to wave 123 before I jumped in the lava to end it.

Smeggit's strategy easily got me the achievement. I got to wave 50 in about 2 hours. We set up another Void Wall corner behind the swinging maces, and I think only a few Earth Lord remnants made it that far in one wave, then were tele'd back. A bit slow, but safe and easy to get the achievement.

Big guys like ogres and mountain trolls take 200% damage from explosives.

Earth Elementals take 250% damage from explosives.

Smeggit's using physical damage and stun plus void wall which works great, but you could roll in some dwarves or boom barrel dispensers to bust 'em down before the void walls.

If you have the DLC level called "The Tower" available, that is probably the easiest. Spring Traps and push traps may be helpful. Otherwise, Close Cliffs can also seem pretty easy (with Push Traps, and Spring Traps or Floor Scorcher). Just know that eventually Spring Traps jam and become useless, but that might not happen frequently before you hit level 50. The trick is to use items that will kill enemies without just trying to reduce their hit points. Making heavy use of Floor Portal also seems useful (even moreso than Spores), and Trap Reset Trinket is good to have.

Most of them become pretty easy once you get your Floor Portals leveled and a good early and late strat in place.

smaggit how have you handeld the sapper cobolds? They deactivate all my fire traps...
Smeggit 11 grudnia 2013 o 7:38
To be honest I mostly just ignored them. In the early waves if they disabled the first void wall I'd try to stun and wind belt things in place till the void wall freed up and if I failed I'd fall back to the 2nd void wall. In the later waves I generally had enough floor portals to handle what got through the disabled traps. Roughly what wave do they start giving you trouble?
Okay i am playing atm, Wave 57. I have to use often my portals and they just eat my time... Fire+Slow is a bit bugged, they dont ever fire and dont really deal enough damage to kill em. I use boom barrel too, most effective but still... eats too much time. I kill the most Gigants by my crosbow - thanks my aim...

Additional i have to say, i dont made the Void setup, I looked for me just like wasted spots in my hotlist. Is this wrong? Do i require the fast money at start?

for me personally, my setup with monefields as ampfields worked tons better... same wave, half time.

Money is one of the main reasons for using void wall tho I gotta admit it is a very slow kill setup at later waves. I've done it before with a similar setup but replaced a trap with Spore Mushrooms which is a heck of a lot faster but again takes much more money.
