Tired of CHEATING SCORES!
I speak on behalf of the community of OMD2. We are SICK and TIRED of working hours and hours on a highscore just to be bumped by cheaters... We know that you, Robot Entertaintment have been clearing out the cheated highscores but theres levels that have people with 1Billion+ points or more and have been there for weeks...

Its becoming to a point where continuiously wiping off the cheaters score isn't enough anymore. You NEED to BAN the player names.

Why should WE (the community) spend HOURS playing YOUR game and working towards an achievement we'll probably never get because someone can't play a damn game legitemetely?

Here I'll be posting a confirmed list of cheaters who NEED to be banned from any highscoring oppurtunities.

=======================
Sorry we cant post names of "suspected" cheaters. I suggest heading to Robots forums for assistance. - ocarD
=======================

The community expects these names off the highscores or there will be no more community.

Please use this thread to post comments or concerns and any new names that you feel have cheated their way into the highscores and together we can deal with these people.

Your best off posting in the official Robot Entertainment forums. They do run a Leaderboard sweep every once in a while and more often if requested.
Yes but sweeping the highscores isn't good enough anymore. It's time people were actually banned.
They are banned once their scores are removed by only from that particular leaderboard. I remember reading a topic about it on Robot's official forums.

Ah, I wish they would be banned entirely...
Yeah, i totally agree. This needs to be stopped.

Yea i agree but it is often like that, remove the top 10-15 people and you will have the good players ^_^

If anyone wants to contribute to this list, just post the name and details such as rank, score, and level, and I will add their name to the list. Maybe if we get a big enough list, Robot Entertainment will do something about it...

Looks like this isn't a purchase for me
Just be careful Anarcko, technically it's against Steam'sToS to publically accuse anyone of this kind of misconduct *by name* on a Steam forum.

Fine to do it on Robot's official forums though.

I wouldn't want you to get Banned and I'm sure you wouldn't want somebody else to get banned by following your lead.

This is why I only compete against my own scores or play strictly for fun.

A single cleansing and a tiny tweak, removing money from counting towards the score-update could have fixed it once and for ever.
Removing money wouldn't fix it. There is no sanity check for altering the variables via a hex editor. They would need something running server-side to check client-side activity. Or implement a system that runs sanity checks on variables being altered outside of the game's original context via a 3rd party application.

Like in BL2, in order to get completely obnoxious weapons into the game you have to by-pass the initial sanity check during loading screen/start up in order for the weapon to successfully be implemented into the universe.

It's something they should have thought of when in development.

True, but virtually (if not) all cheated highscores are result from using a trainer for money hack. None of the cheaters really care about high scores (enough) or are capable of finding a way to climb leaderboards besides giving themselves ridiculous amount of money.

This is why I hate leaderboards.......people spend more time figuring out ways to cheat than just playing the dahm game
