Full controller support ##CONFIRMED##
Steam says "FCS", but the Demo I just played begs to differ. I emailed Robo but who knows if i'll get a response.

360 wireless here. Works fine with every other game that supports controllers. Not this one. I even tried using xpadder but I can't figure out how to get the character out of "placing a trap" mode and into fight mode. Never had this many control problems with a game.

Cool, thanks for sharing. All the forums have posts form over a year ago, so i wanted feedback from someone who has played more recently to see if there were any silent patches from Robo. That saves me $15 on a game this will only frustrate me.

They did update it with controller support - not sure if demo was updated as well.

Getting from Placing-a-trap mode to Fight-mode should just be a question of scrolling "next trap" (mouse wheel with m/kb) until you get to your weapon or mapping "next trap" on x-padder if it's not already on the control scheme.

Unless somehow you're on Classic control scheme - which separates traps from weapons - in which case switch back to default scheme in Options.

I just quick tested xbox360 wireless controller. Menu and game works fine with it.
I'm on w7x64 and got controller driver installed http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-wireless-controller-for-windows

edit: You need to turn on controller before game.

Without using xpadder, my wireless, official 360 controller works only in the menus. And by "works" I mean the left thumbstick simulates the movement of the mouse and I can hit "A" as if to left click. Get into the rebind controls and it just sits there as if I'm not pressing a key on the controller. Whatevs.

I have full Xbox 360 wireless controller support with the exception that I can't seem to place traps. I can select a trap and it appears in the center of the display, but no X360 controller button lets me place it. I migth very well be doing something wrong, but without the 360 controler button layout available in the Help or a manual, I have no way of knowing what? A shame because I'm playing this on my Entertainment PC in my Den via Steam Big Screen and really don't want to bother fumbling with my wireless keyboard & mouse.

I bought this a few days ago and it works perfectly with my Logjtech F710. Main menu to in~game is flawless

Got it to work just fine with my 360 Controller. I never owned the 360 OMD1 game, so I downloaded the trial and for the most part its control layout is the same for OMD2. For traps I just needed to use the left and right bumpers to cycle through them and then press R-Trigger to place them. The controls are good, but a bit finicky for getting the R-Stick sensitivity correct via the slider in the Game Settings menu.

Everything works fine for me when I use my wireless Xbox controller, my only annoyance is that the deadzone is terrible.

Robo Ent. also emailed me back within a week to confirm. <i forgot to give them credit for decent feedback in good time>

I do not see this option in the options menu.

I do not see this option in the options menu.

I don't remember the exact wording but it's the option for Split or Flat interface.

Good Lord. We're gonna call this a "user error." Didnt know I had to use a slot for a weapon or that I could customize traps. Doh! Controller is all good now.

Haha, awesome. Pretty soon you'll be able ot get your hands on a cripsy new Steam controller and all these issues wil be history. Amen for an input agnostic experience!
