Yes it's on the way !![steamdb.info].
But the ones that need to come on Linux/SteamOS is Dirt Rally, Dirt 3.
Grid autosport has already been announced.

anyway, the download doesn't work (yet)

This will most likely be a Virtual Programming port, but hopefully, it'll still have good performance.

I also had DiRT Showdown show up in my library on Mac OS X.
But I have the same problem - the download isn't working yet...
So I would assume they'll release Mac & Linux versions soon

It came out for OS X last year, so I'm assuming you mean that it wasn't available on Steam for Mac until now?

Yeah, it's been available on the App Store, but I'm pretty sure there's no online muliplayer in that version (only local split screen).
Same thing happened with DiRT 3 Complete Edition: it was released on the App Store last year, but the Steam version (with online MP) only came out in April 2015.
So I guess it takes some time for the developers to add MP functionality and properly test it before Steam release.

That makes sense. I wonder if it will be cross-platform multiplayer. We Linux and Mac players might be the only ones online in that game. It will be nice if we can play with each other.
