Issue with FPS [SOLVED]
This game has a good premise, and looks very cool. HOWEVER pray that your version works flawlessly! Kalypso has absolutely NO SUPPORT for Steam users! Steam cannot help you because Kalypso offers their support for AT2, however, when asking for support from Kalypso, they will simply assume you are using their retail version, point you to retail version folders, execute unistall procedures for the retail version (they've asked me to delete a file from the game's folder which didn't exist, and when I told them about it, they asked me if I installed an original version ¬¬).

So, beware when acquiring this game. If you get lucky and it works absolutely flawlessly with you, you're in for some good gaming. If not, tough luck.

PS.: They had the guts to simply end my support ticket with "We believe it's your graphics card which is causing the issues". Note that I have a better GPU than the one listed on the requirements...

did you ever mention to them that you are using the steam version ?

besides i don't think the game folder is that different, the only difference is that retail version is installed in program files x86, while steam version is in steamapps\common.

because the only real difference is in the DRM used by the game.

you got yourself to blame for not explaining to them that you are using the legit steam version, and if you really did that, i don't think that they assume that you are using the non legit version.

next time try to mention to them that you are using the steam version, and for all steam games, its usually installed in steamapps\common, unless you choose a custom path.

As a matter of fact I DID tell them I was using the Steam version. Their reply was "We are not familiarized with the Steam version. Please execute the appropriate tasks."

Besides, Valve and I have solved the issue already.

well, you don't marked it as solved, and it was on the first page,

the reason i reply is that people that checked this forum, for info on the game, will see this thread on the first page,

since the forum is basically dead.

besides you can unsubscribe from your own thread.

because less technical people might get confused and scared when deciding on buying this game.

because i do want airline tycoon 2 to succeed, so that kalypso will make airline tycoon 3,

but i dislike airline tycoon 2, because its a dumbed down a lot than the first airline tycoon game, which is airline tycoon evolution.

and also from your post, you said you can't find the directory and such, that's why i thought that you didn't realise that steam games are always on steamapps.
