What are your favourite mods?

I want to get into modding the game, but the best modding website I've found is the egosoft forums; not exactly as good as the nexus sites, or curse, so I'm having a hard time finding the mods I'd like to have, and to hell with browsing through the whole thing.

So do you know about any good mod lists? what are your favorite mods? etc.

In particular though, I'd like to have a mod that makes stations look different depending on race. It's kind of silly to me that all races have exactly the same space stations, and in my opinion it also makes certain exploration aspects of the game a lot more boring, (all the main race sectors are like exploring a bunch of cities that all look identical to each other, it's as if the buildings in egypt and japan and all places inbetween look identical) is there any mod that does something about that?

I'd also like to have a mod that fixes how pirates just at some point "disappear" in albion prelude, I just stop encountering them after playing for a while which again, makes the game quite a bit more boring.

Did you try the Nexus site? I was confused because I wasn't sure by your wording if you've checked them. I know they have a mod section for X3.

And to be honest is Nexus has mods for this game i couldn't find them there. only found mods for rebirth

nexus doesn't have x3 mods. just rebirth.
