Class restrictions
I've watched a video on the F2P version of everquest and I discovered that you must pay for a subscription to unlock all the classes. I was sort of disappointed, cause i wanted to be a shadowknight. My point is: do the class restrictions still exist??

Yep the class restriction still exist.
I myself have a silver account but am still unable to sell things on the market.
Also you are unable to wear legendary items.
When you have a gold or platinum account you are able to do all off those things. But then you need to pay /month. So nothing really changed besides you CAN play the game but with alot of restrictions.

It sucks imho!

If I recall it was not very expensive to unlock things. I think it was the cheapest F2P I have every played. I had a live and F2P account for awhile. The problem I had is after you get high enough it was all pretty much raid content.

If you want to play f2p as a shadownight, classes can be purchased of the Station Cash market for 750SC ($7.50). But as was already mentioned, some items are locked for f2p accounts.
