Is it completely free?
When I saw this game I thought "Awesome" but when I went to watch game paly vids to see what it was like, every one kept saying a 14 day trial, is it completely free to play or is it truly just a trial.

It's free-to-play. I believe the 14 day trial was something they did before they launched free-to-play back in 2011.

Its Free but all the best parts you gotta pay. like High end gear, Master spells, being able to raid. stuff like that really. but 100% fun without paying.

Yeah, I'm silver status and I get to enjoy pretty much all what the game has to offer.

Sorry, I didn't initially mean to write a paragraph in reply, so in case of TL;DR: Yes, the game is absolutely free.

Due to a recent update, the game may as well be beyond completely free. I've been a silver status for a couple years because of the benefits it had over F2P, but I wasn't willing to pay for gold. Now the only real difference between silver and F2P is the rate at which you gain experience, access to the broker, and access to certain chat channels. And contrary to what someone said above, you do not need to pay for gold to have access to the high end gear. You can pay to have them unlocked for your F2P account if you feel you cannot live without them. But I wouldn't call the things gold has access to the "best" part of the game. For me, the best part is the questing, just generally playing the game. But to each his own.

My buddies and I havbe been paying on the free to play account, 100% free. Bit of advice, I strongly recommened paying the 1-time cost of $5 to upgrade to the Silver account; it unlocks Expert spells, all chat channels, two extra character slots, guild creation...(in other words, well worth the five bucks).

We have been playing with the Silver account for months now and even though it would be nice to have Gold, we are having tons of fun with Silver.

In reality it really costs $5, since without Silver the game is pretty lame. To truly enjoy it though, you have to get a full, subsciption-based account ("Gold"), otherwise you're pretty much stuck with solo and small group content (though you can still have fun with friends, don't expect to get any of the good gear or take part in any really challenging stuff).
