Low fps on exteme performance
I have the game set to the lowest graphics possible and yet I still get 3-5 fps when I move or stand still. I've looked this up but all I found were fixes for people using higher graphic settings.

what video card are you running?

That is the sad part, I've never known my video card or really much about my computer except that it's a pos laptop with a intel core i5. I was extremely suprised it could run skyrim on low.

figure out which parts you have, people can't help you otherwise..

ouch umm well Eq2 is Very CPU Heavy for sure but you do need a video card. if its a laptop you most likely have a build in video card, if its an intel core i5? its more then likely a Pro graphics 5000 or something around that. try this site to see if you can run games. help's alot

I would almost bet that you have the integrated video card.
MrToasterWafflez Jul 26, 2013 @ 10:59am
I know i have an integrated video card i just don't know what type
Mrfoot_Fungus Jul 26, 2013 @ 5:05pm
Yeah intergrated isnt going to work at all. you gotta get a real video card tbh. so you would have to buy a Desktop. maybe look at the settings for EQ2 and try to set stuff really low.
MrToasterWafflez Jul 26, 2013 @ 5:24pm
I did set everything on low, if you didn't read what I put.

umm under Options advanced mode look at Multi-core support. if its on turn it off and try if it lags! if its off. turn it on and see if it lags!test it off and on lol. take off reflections maybe?

EQ2 is not designed for Integrated chips. Due to the fact that it already uses the CPU as much as it does, trying to use the CPU to also run the graphics is a hell no.

I wish it did run on the newer integrated chips because it would attract more people, but if you want to play you should go over the hardware requirements before attempting to play it.

System Requirements
OS: Windows® 7, Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or Windows® Vista
Processor: Pentium® 4 equivalent or greater
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 10.0+ GB Available Hard Drive Space
Video Card: NVidia GeForce FX 5700/ATI Radeon 9500 equivalent or greater*
DirectX®: 9.0
Sound: DirectX compatible Sound Card
