Station Marketplace is Currently Unvailable

Did anyone else get this message? I just topped up my account as i'm a first time player and wanted to buy a class for around 700 points. An error message came up and said "Station MarketPlace is currently unavailable. Please try again later". Has this been happening for some time now, or is there a way around it?

Yeah, I couldn't but anything from the store on the character create screen, but I had no problems buying things in game. I'd suggest making a temp character, going into the game, and then buy the class you want. After that you can just delete the temp character if you want.
