okay so i have been doing the iron head fight for around 3 hours and i cant beat him without taking damage,the only reason i do this is so i get the secret item alien medal
but i know that in the hidden last cave you fight a red demon tree thingy which also drops a medal,i dont know if its the same medal but i dont want to risk it a and restart the game
so if anyone knows if both medals are the same PLEASE tell me because the red demon is so much easyer

Those are different.
Boss in the last cave drops Medal of the Red Ogre, not Alien Medal.

i knew it would be bad if i just skip that medal.
but i wanna ask if you know whats a good wepon to use for that part :P
i have the snake rocket launcher kings sword and the bubline(got the snake because im on easy mode and i know about the spur)and so far it seems like kings sword is most usfull yet very slow

the best weapon for this part is the rocket launcher, upgrade it to lvl 3, get behind ironhead and spam rockets. he will be dead in a matter of seconds

well i really have like 1 rocket and i cant get the hidden rockets in the geothermal

well then you best keep trying with the blade or you try to get the medal on your next run

IMO the level 3 blade's better at it, since Ironhead isn't nearly as much a threat as the fish, and the level 3 blade can take care of 3/4 of a batch of them in a single throw.

If you're saved in the house where you drain the water from Curly, you can keep killing the bat outside that house to grind for missile drops. If your missile launcher is at level 3, it shouldn't take more than 10-15 missiles to take Ironhead down.

If not, though, the Blade is the way to go. I usually like it at level 3, since then it takes out a lot of the porcu puffers as well.

Level 3 sword is probably you best bet, the 'aoe' effect is very useful for clearing the fish and damaging the boss at the same time.

well i have been trying that for alot of time (not the missle launcher i mean kings sword)
and it seems most times with a level 3 kings sword i just hit random rocks and even if i do hit iron head since he moves so fast(you can use the blade mostly as he goes to the right) he just gets off-screen and get away
the only thing thats hard for is the fact i cant just dodge iron head the puff fish and the rocks in the same time WHILE im aiming with kings sword i have been using the missle but i have NEVER used it in the iron head boss fight not even when the original game came out
i just think its really cheap not to say the upgraded missles are way to over powered in that fight.
shoutout for emayer555 because he said i can just farm the bat and its actully a very good tip that you should use yourself but like i said i dont wanna use the rocket launcher because its way to cheap much like the spur which i my self think is way to over powered which is why its over rated

Spur isn't Over Powered, Trust me. Its nice until the you start hell.. THEN its close to required.

Besides, use the missle, stop being so frustrated because you think its cheap to do it. Though I beat him with the sword. Don't try to kill him in one shot, just make a cycle that works for you on hitting him, then repeat it. If you make an objective its easier. Mine was mostly: Dodge Rocks, Kill Puffers when possible, hit ironhead as he comes back from the rush while dodging rocks.

Why didn't anyone mention using the Blade AND the missile! Use level 2 blade until it upgrades to lvl 3, then switch to rocket to finish it off!
