Cave Story+ crashes in Challenges Mode!!!
When the game crashes at the first level in challenges mode, there is no notice of error,
but simply i return to library screen of STEAM. This is strange because in story mode it isn't crashes.

My System Spec. :

OS Windows 7
Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.5 Ghz
Nvidia Geforce 9300 GE
Ram 4 GB

Sorry for my english because i'm italian.

ik i have windows 8 and it crashes in the challenges.it happens with other people,too.probably its some bug they haven't fixed yet,who knows.

I have similiar problem, but with linux version of game, it's related to replays system in challenges mode...

This is happening to me too now, it crashes after I play challenge mode, as soon as I finish the first challenge, preventing me from unlocking any otehr challenges......... any help would be appreciated..

The studio isn't that known to patch cave story + anymore. It has been this way since years ago when an achievment couldn't be unlocked so you couldn't get all achievements, and you still can't.

It always crashes after you do a challenge. To my knowledge, there is no fix for this.

Yet there's still that 0.3% of Cave story-owning person who have the "Rarest/hardest/whatever" achievement... How?

Hopefully one day that patch will fix this, and the crash in machine gun mode...

To unlock the other 3 Challenges you have to beat Hell (Blood Stained Santuary) on Easy/Normal/Hard.
