What's a good way to spice up re-plays?

I must have played through this game 6 or 7 times, counting the free version. I've been thinking about doing it again, but what's a fun way to make another run more interesting? I've already done at least two playthroughs with all the alternate weapons. Nemesis/blade, machine gun/snake/spur. Beat the game with the Mimiga mask on. I feel like I've explored all the most fun options.

Anything else I could try, other than some kind of restrictive "challenge" run? It's crossed my mind to try a speed run or beat everything with 3 HP or other things like that, but I think that would just be more frustrating than fun for me.

play it without dieng and if you have cave story 3D (the cartrage) and beat the game, you unlock time attack mode and when you start, open your inventory, pause the game, and quit. then start a new save and you will have the booster 2.0, arms barrier, and the 290 counter. only problem is you need to play the game in one sitting although you CAN save.

I've only beat it a few times(just got the Best ending yesterday), but I just started a Curly Story mode on easy with no life capsules. Honestly if you're bored but still want to play the game, pick an achievement you haven't got yet and try to get it. Some of them are pretty difficult, but it'll definitely keep you occupied.

I see you haven't beaten hard mode yet, so maybe make that your next goal?

Besides that, you can roleplay as you go, check out the other graphics options, try to get all of the dialogue and read the text out-loud, ect.

You might find you like the NICALIS remixes more then the Danny Baranoski stuff.

Congrats on getting the best time in all of the challenge modes and unlocking the Jukebox!

You could change the original freeware version so you can only get the bubbler and try to play the game using only that.
