Possible way for most achievments?
Soo I started wondering - if most achievments unlock when text displays on the screen - then is it possible to make custom *translation* that would unlock stuff as Kazuma speaks?

I doubt they are actually comparing strings -- that would be extremely stupid.

It's more like "Event happens -> unlock achievement -> show text". The two results are independent, could be the other order (or, if it's multithreaded, could even be done concurrently).
Try changing translation to the freeware one - achievments won't work because of wrong text input. Lazy programing, nothing else
Maybe, but why would you want to do that? If you want to cheat there are already ways to get any and every achievement in any game, but only serious losers do that.
Yes, I'm more like wondering about the way game's programmed than looking for cheats :squirtyay:

If you are looking at the games code/script any chance you can figure out why "Curse Broken" doesn't unlock?

It would be interesting to find out if a single line of dialogue was typoed or just doesn't show up and that is why it doesn't unlock.
Nah, i was not playing with the way game is programmed, i figured it out from the way translations work
