Pros. booster only dies becourse he feels like his job is done, by the fact that if you ignore him, he gets up upgrades the booster he had worked on and then gets the teleporter started, but if you talk to him he just gives you the pack and pretty much dies becourse he has found peace, and a cure-all would most likely not cure a mans desire to die when the time feels right.
Also, maybe Curly was not injured at all, and simply deeply in shock from watching her children being kidnapped? The cure all was just curing her mental ailments.
Some new thought I had : The cure-all is responsible for all the fainting she does, as a side effect.
