Only with bootcamp etc just now, anyone that says they have the mac release date is borked.

This is the reason I never buy macs. They have some nice gadgets and are slick but for the same price I can buy a more powerful pc and I have a larger game libary. On the other hand I still get a chance to get a virus while you don't soooo there's that.

At the moment its only available on Windows but will become available on mac at a later date

Torchlight 2 on Steam will be Steamplay (PC+Mac version) this means if you buy Windows version now later you will have Mac version also. Mac version should be Q4 2012 or Q1 2013. Good luck!

Oh please. The reason you don't "buy macs" is just that... you just play games and can't afford them. Some of us have careers in design fields, AND are avid gamers. And Macs do both. It's called BOOTCAMP. If you're going to make a Mac comment, make it relevant and use logic instead of Ad Hominem.

Give the guy a break. I love my mac, I game on my mac, and I haven't owned a PC in years, but what he is saying is absolutely true. I'm the first person to point out when people are arguing poorly, but in this case, you jumped down his throat for nothing.

Umm actually the guy is right, for what you spend a Mac you can buy and build a PC with the same hardware and actually spend less money. Like most Apple products you pay a hefty permieum for the quiality. The cheapest Pro is about $1200 and that is the low end one I can build a more powerful PC with the same amount of money and it would make that one look like crap. Apple has always had a high markup on thier hardware if you don't believe me go look up the specs for the low Mac pro and then go on Newegg and see how much that same hardware would cost if you built a PC I can promise that you won't spend $1200 for the same hardware.

If you play games get a pc, Apple only have low end Gpu's can''t over clock no x fire or sli and no up grade route other than buy a new machine every 2 years.

I Have a 09 mac mini I use as a HTPC, a 15" 2011 MB for general use and 2012 MBA for work , but I do most of my gaming on my pc, I do have win7 on the 15" MB just for games when I travel, for the same money as a current MB or Imac you can build a pc that is way faster.

@ codev mac's can get a virus and there are some nasty ones around at the moment, OSX is a bigger part of the OS market than it was a few years ago so now its a bigger target for malware

Mac's are great but not if your main focus is playing games.

I think I saw Runic said that they have a plan on mac version and I believe they are working on it right now. But the release date is unknown now. So if you only have mac, what you can do is to wait patiently.

most tech enthusiasts are paying for the operating system and the compatible applications tho... the sexy hardware is just a major plus. try dating identical twins sometime; im sure you'd spend more on the one with the better personality =P
