How to retrive character and items back?
After I re-installed Windowns then download Steam and TL2, my characters and items in TL2 were all gone. How can I get my characters back? or I should not re-load TL2 from Staem?

Well afaik TL2 is safing your characters etc. on your system. So if you deleted all..

Just load your back-up files. You did make backups, didn't you? No? Well, look on the bright side...now is your chance to build that gonzo Berserker, maximizing Charm, from Lvl 1.

Doesn't TL save your characters to steam cloud?

David, TL2 saved only shared stach.
Funky, is TL2 saved characters information on my computer, not in cloud? so I should backup TL2 files in my computer before I formated hard drive?

The "cloud" is just remote or off-site storage and is never sufficient for backups. So, yes TL2 also saves to your hd, and you should always have appropriate, timely, multiple, backups of all relevant data.
