To All Users: Please use the Search function
Hi all, I am really bothered about the fact that our favorite Torchlight 2 game forum is been spammed every day by repeating the same discussions by many users.

So I just would like to announce a small appeal:
Please use the Search option
You can find a lot of actual information about many topics like:
  • Is it worth to buy Torchlight 2 now?
  • Looking for friends or people to play
  • Giving out Dota 2
  • Multiplayer game issues
  • Game crashes and other problems
  • Trading offers
  • Mods information
  • Builds and different skills descriptions
  • and much more
The Steam searching engine is really nice, so do not hesitate to use it!

As if. People are so used to being spoon fed that if the answer isn't in an ad on page one of Goggle or Bing their search is OVER. Drilling to gather information is largely the sole function of the "open source" community. The vast majority just whine hoping YOU will do the "work:" for them. DO NOT enable the slack jawed slackers despite their claims that it makes a community. A real community, like ARS TECHNICA, depends on the users to first make their best efforts. If someone tries to help themselves I, among like minded individuals, will do our best to help. But if you have read posts here, and anywhere actually, people think that their time is more valuable than yours, SO THEY MAKE NO EFFORT and learn nothing. Rinse and repeat..

Common man, maybe some encouragement instead?

OH, I do better than that, by stating the truth. For over 40 years I have always helped those that have shown that they have exhausted themselves and resources. I am encouraging people to help themselves. I don't find that wrong.
Again, take a boo at ARS TECHNICA, where MSCEs will collaborate to solve a real problem.
Poor Runic, if their support staff get tickets which are as vacuous, as posted in threads here, they are probably submitting resumes to Rogers.

Yeah that's mighty generous of you. I'm glad someone finally decided to turn this dump into a functioning community, even if it's only by dropping in and reminding people they are not yet ready to receive your assistance.
