Dungeon Question
I know this might sound dumb but the problem I have with this game is that I hate the fact that if I die in a dungeon I have to spawn at the enterance, even if I used a friend's portal. Is there a way around this? Or is this just the way of Torchlight II?

it's your call.

you can either spawn at the entrance - losing like 10% of your gold - or spawn in town.
if you spawn in town, you can then take that same portal. or if you are brave and have a good, stable online connection (unlike me) - spawn at your friend's current location, if he's not in a boss area.
plus you don't lose any gold.

I personally like to cycle between the two options. I don't carry a lot of gold since Enchanters ate it. so during a bossfight, it's best for me to pay the penalty, spawn at the entrance and get right back in the action.

Thanks for the info but let me try to be more clear, when me and my friend were in a dungeon and I died, even when teleporting to him, I would start at the enterance of the dungeon. Is it possible to literally land where he is at? (like Diablo 3)

yes. that's the "spawn at friend's location" I talked about. when entering the waypoint in town, click the green "person" icon next to his name, instead of the blue portal icon.
but you can't do that if he's in a boss area, so what most people do is open a portal just before the bossfight.
