Mac version?!?!?!?
As somebody who has loved the first torchlight a ton, and also looked forward to this game, I can say that I'm thoroughly dissapointed they STILL don't have a Mac version out. The game has been out for months now, and I'm really losing my faith in these guys on porting to mac.

According to their support page, they say this:

"Torchlight II is available now for PC. We also plan to do a Mac port. No console or Linux releases are planned at this time."

I see a lot of people have bought the game, knowing it wasn't supported, which isn't exactly the smartest move.

Does it not work on Bootcamp? Have you Googled for any temporary workarounds like with many PC games? Some sort of fancy doodaa to get it to work, until Runic MAYBE make it Mac-supported.

Thanks for the help. I run a virtual machine, but I highly doubt Torchlight II would run well on it. I've had thoughts of installing windows 7 on this computer, but I don't have enough hard drive space. I guess I'm just stuck waiting for either the mac port, or a 750Gig hard drive.

I am also eagerly waiting on a Mac port, perhaps sometime in 2014 when all my friends no longer want to play it...

Ya i'm PC but it seems this day in age it should be the norm to see support on newer games and software.. its 2012 noone should be restricted.. the Mayan calender symbol in the 3rd koombaya says so.. what they meant by "new beginning" MAC would actually get support on TL2.

Will give this one a Skip... I'm too lazy to shut down my Mac and boot Bootcamp. Torchlight 1 was pretty good... but there are plenty of cool games I can play without needing to reboot my machine.

They'll get around to it, but releasing user friendly and well documented modding tools is more important to them.

Since Torchlight II was advertised to include the GUTS editor shortly after release, I can't blame Runic.

Thanks for the tip, Knacki! PlayOnMac has so many supported games! :D I'll try that out...
