Just bought TorchLight II & curious about which mods to install

Quick background: I have played TES Skyrim with tons of different mods and loved most of them and didnt like some but some of the mods I have for it I wish i would have installed to make the game experience alot better from the start.


In everyones opinion which mods should I install before I get far into the story mode and or online. Pretty please be specific about which mods.. THANKS for your time and good luck gaming.

Get "No side tabs + (v.1)". It changes the UI to make the side buttons of the screen unclickable, which is good because you can't disable them normally and it's pretty easy to click on them by mistake when you wanted to click on the ground to walk around, making the character not move at all and probably get hit in the face because of it.

Get "Blanks Landmarks" and "Extra Chunky", those add new map segments to the game, and they're made by actual devs of the game.

You can get the "Respec / Restat Potion" mod which adds those to vendors, so that you don't feel like killing yourself down the line.

There's a big mod that changes everything called Synergies mod that gets brought up a lot, but that's not an upgrade or direct improvement or anything. It pretty much changes the entire game into another game instead of simply improving it, it's not a must-get extra thing.

There are class mods around, but you should uh expect all of them to be bonkers about anything about balance or gameplay design...

I didnt want to have mods for my characters cause I figured it would be horrible and to easy for me then. The other mods though iw ill check that out because I have accidentally click my side tabs and that is very annoying!
