Any futuristic ARPGs that are like this game?
This game is wonderful, but I'm in the mood for an ARPG that has all the same things like a big world and leveling and loot, but with a futuristic vibe of guns/lasers and maybe even mechs. ANy good suggestions out there?

p.s. I bought Shadowgrounds but that isn't much of an ARPG, has too little character progression and is level based.

Well, there's Space Siege, but rumor has it that it's pretty bad. Other than that, I can't actually think of any. Sorry.

Was going to say Space Siege as well. Don't bother with that title, boring if I remember. Shame there are so many fantasy ARPGs and only Space Siege set in the future.

I would suggest Mass effect 3 it would tick the futuristic and also the guns / lazers box. whilst still delivering the rpg effect. basically a dragon age game with better weapons and in space.

Although if your looking for a more Torchlight-ish game, with a space theme i cant really suggest anything else, maybe if you liked strategy you could try Starcraft, which is like command and conquer but more futuristic.

Or if you like more of a action space theme game, try Space Marine. Its a 40k warhammer game, where you actually play as a space marine. Its fairly enjoyable with hints of difficulty. The only game i can think to hand in which i can compare,is gears of war. If your familiar.

But those are 3 space type games i can think of. I hope it helped. Please let me know if i was helpfull

Regards
Alexander

Hmm yeah I've only heard bad about Space Siege. And yeah Alexander, those are good suggestions, but I already beat all those games lol.

Greed:Black Border is alright and it is not that pricey either.
Grim Dawn isn't futuristic, but by the general feel of most ARPGs today, it's pretty high tech.

How about a Harbringer?[en.wikipedia.org]
Grim dark future as it is. Pretty old and unpopular but still good in my opinion.

Alien Shooter 2 (sort of).

Likewise Sacred/Sacred 2. However, it's still pretty much like TL2: there's some pretty high "technology" but it is based around magic.

Darkspore space-ish/futuristic ARPG but I found it pretty limited (the maps are more like individual arenas rather than a connected world with dungeons). I don't even know if Darkspore is still around.
