Thats the issue then but dont worry....the difficulty will pick up ^^
Even worse, I got a rare item with a *very small* amount of physical damage reflection - 12 points per hit. At that point, I went up against that worm-like boss who throws poison up on you in one of the level 8-10 dungeons. I quite literally just stood there. I even put my cat on "passive". Seriously, we just stood there. The boss and all his skeleton summons just killed themselves. I could have gone to get a sandwich.
I think what I will have to do is to play veteran level, and just accept that I am going to occasionally die when I get surrounded by enemies, which is sometimes unavoidable for a tank character. I was getting frustrated when I had 3 deaths by late Act I, but that was much more exciting and fun than sitting around and watching the game play itself!
My advice to the OP would be to change to Veteran difficulty level, and prepare for a totally different game. Normal level pretty much puts the game on automatic pilot, and all you have to do is sit, watch the pretty colors and cartoons, and occasionally click your left mouse button. Or not - it will hardly make any difference *what* you do.
