Lost Character Progression
Hi, I had played through a NG+ and had gotten to level 89 or so and when I opened the game this morning I opened the game and found that I had regressed to level 62 and lost my progression. Any fixes?

The only time when progression isn't saved, is if you get a crash while your character didn't travel anywhere. The game saves automatically at each loading screen, and also everytime you hit the save button. But if you crash in between, your progression is lost.

But I have troubles to believe you would have gone from lvl 62 to lvl 89 without changing location.. So my guess is that the Steam cloud synchronization messed up, and somehow thought that the one on the cloud had the priority over the one on your PC.

Nothing much you can do, I think your save is unfortunately lost - but if in the future you have messages when you start the game like "Should I download the save from the cloud, or upload the save to the cloud ?" you should be really careful what you choose.

This is actually pretty good, it works on different levels.

When i drank that beer tonight...I drank that beer.

When i went all in yesterday...i went all in.
Once after playing with Steam in offline mode, it replaced my save with the older cloud save without prompting me next time I was online. That only happened once and it was ages ago, though.

This morning I saw all of your responses and I saw them all. I would like to thank you by thanking you. I may have lost my save when I lost my save so I thought I would play through again to play through again.
