The quest designs, NPCs and story are really bad. Everything else though is good. Better than all the games in this genre that i have tried. The best thing about this game however, is the mod support, cos there are some seriously cool mods out there that help twek your experience with this game. The game comes with Steam workshop integration which i used for the first time, and its really easy. Also your moded game doesn't interfere with the vanila game as you are offered the choice every time you launch. This game has been out for a while now, and everything (except for the first few things i mentioned) such as the graphics, gameplay etc. is decent. What you should keep in mind though is you will have more fun playing with others. And its the type of game you can introduce to people who don't normally play games.
Note - If you are visually impared, there are certain things that will be frustrating. You will spend alot of time reading the stats on loot, which could get physically exhausting/straining as well as kinda make others wait (Cos it takes you longer to sort). The autosort system is helpful to speed up your loot sorting, but it still takes a while. Also some of the amller enemies in levels may be missed, but the sound ques will let you know something is there, just in case your pet hasn't already noticed it. Playing on a snall laptop screen might also be a little tricky. But other than that, its good. I didn't actually check for mods that might make the game easier to see, but there might be something out there.
