It's also worth noting that you also have to pay in order to contact their tech support.

Try buying photoshop at retail and then upgrade or pay for that cloud crap. This is cheap compared to Adobe's godly tools

magix has always been great about pricing. hoping that they update to sell the new 2014 version on steam. will you ever bring the non pro version here too? the 69.99 one?

this software is cabbage. I'm using 3gig video card, 8core processor, 8gigs of higher-end ram, all it does is freeze or crash my pc. I dont have time for tickets and support. Make a more diverse product.

I went back to Adobe. This was supposed to be an easier more convienent solution for my needs, and its only given me headaches.

There is a promotion on the Magix website at the moment (until Dec 19th, 2013). You could buy Magix Movie Edit Pro 2014 + Vasco da Gama 6 HD Professional + MAGIX Video Sound Cleaning Lab 2014 for $50 or you even cheeper if you apply coupon codes (google magix coupons).

The difference between the Standard version (in the promotion) and the Plus version (that is available here) is that the Standard lacks 3D support, some effects, some transitions, screen recording and 5.1 surround sound. Everything else is available including full AVCHD support.
