I was really enjoying the game until Chapter 2 Mission 2....
While this game isn't quite the traditional RTs game, i was heavily enjoying managing unit swarms, building defense structures and taking out my enemies. While simplistic and lacking real depth, the game still has it's charm....until I hit Chapter 2 Mission 2. What in gods name is up with the nonstop spawning enemies despite having all of the Blue enemies structures. It makes no bloody sense other then to be supremely annoying.

Trying to take out the aqua colored enemy is difficult enough without having nonstop spawning enemies that flanks each base. Every time I secure a structure, i don't have any spare units to really take out the enemy on the opposite side of the map...who thought it was a good idea?

The difficulty in this game is really poorly balanced. Some maps are fine at normal, while some are very hard even at easy.
Had to give up at some point in 2nd chapter because of that, and because I don't like to start the mission over and over :/

Surprised to see anyone respond xD haha. Yeah, the game seemed fine and a good balance but then this mission just kept spawning adds nonstop and just locked me into being unable to do anything T -T

Just played 2-2 and I agree totally. The magical appearance of enemies from off the edge of the play zone turned the missoin from enjoyable to annoying, very lazy, instead of making the scenario and ai challenging the game just blatantly cheats. plus the game also reacted to my commands by instantly attacking rigs the second I issued the command to move all units away... So no fog of war for the ai opponent either. lazy lazy lazy

The difficulty imbalance annoyed me so much, after 30 minutes I gave up.
This need to be fixed.

I'm glad that I'm not alone who thinks this was a bit on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ side, I too tried for a good half hour to continue to defend and send units to take out the last structures from the enemy, but I just can't seem to muster enough to get to the other side. Given the unit cap and needing at least 2-3 per base or close to such bases, usually leaves you with half or less to send forth. i doubt this will be looked at or considered.

I'm currently on 2-3 and can't beat that level, not even on easy. I've tried it for more then 20 times, no joke...

It's no fun when something is not beatable.

I agree, at chapter 2 the AI simply starts to cheat by constantly calling in units from outside the map. I would be ok if that happened every once in a while (as reinforcements), but I get flooded by more and more enemies until I get overrun, just annoying and poorly balanced.

The lack of balance in this game is disturbing. I mean, it's incredibly simplystic game, how hard can it be to balance it properly?

The only guess I can make is lack of proper funding, being pushed to release the game asap or a simple lack of care about how the game's integrity is.

I know that I'm late in commenting, but THANK GOD that I'm not the only one! I have two copies of this game, Mac (non-Steam) and the Steam version and I was really enjoying the dialogue, the graphics and the play mechanics. Once I started chapter 2 and was trying to use the planes, I suddenly noticed that I was hitting brick walls in regards to player progress. I would clear out enemies and then send troops over to capture rigs only to be forcibly pushed back by troops that either appeared from noweher or were a surplus of enemy spawns from rigs farther away. And this may sound stupid, but the enemies from the farther rigs seemed to have a speed boost!

Currently I only have over 40 minutes vested in the game. I'm going to try ome more time and then probably delete it. It's a shame because I couldn't afford the game until HIB8 showed up, but now that I have it I hardly want to touch it.

I ended up getting all the way to 3-2 and then it's just impossible. I turned it down to easy and there's just no way to ever get back on your feet after the first few waves. I tried for around a bit over an hour and I just can't go beyond it.

I think that I got more than my money's worth, at 6.7 hrs and will consider my self done with the game. It's fun in certain parts, but pretty frustrating for the rest. Could have been a good traditional tower defense game in certain missions though.

Made it to the submarine level (3-something) and it's gotten too tedious to continue. The non-stop attacks force you to constantly send back parts of your fleet to defend. Makes it very hard to find time to launch an attack of your own.

It does seem like the AI is cheating, often you'll get attacked as soon as you move out your fleet.

Got this game in Humble Bundle. I would be very annoyed if I had paid any money for it on its own. The AI cheats, there's no way (at least I haven't found any) to intercept units passing by, rife with errors. Tutorial say to click blinking button, but nothing blinks. Tech tree looks like a copy/paste work of a lazy student (an icon with shield described as powering up my units attack). AI seem to be not affected by fog of war. Stay away from this game, unless your annoyance tolerance level is very high.
This sounds like it's impossible to finish single player campaign. So is there anyone who managed to stay alive till the end, or everyone simply drop it on one point or another?
